What is the monthly tuition?

Our preschool only offers half-day availability with a morning preschool from 8:30 am-12:30 pm, a toddler class from 8:15-12:15 pm, and opportunity for aftercare from 12:30pm - 3:30PM. The tuition varies depending on the child’s schedule. We offer two, three, and five-day attendance options.

Tuition and fees can be found here

Are there other fees besides tuition?
There is a one-time application fee of $35 ($26.25 for additional siblings), an annual $250 supply fee, and a COVID supply fee of $75.

Does the supply fee cover all of the supplies, or will I be asked to send in school supplies?

If we are doing special projects, we may ask parents to collect items such as boxes, pouch caps, etc., and send them in with their child. However, the student's annual supply fee will cover our basic school supplies. Basic school supplies include but are not limited to glue sticks, writing notebooks, markers, etc.

Do you offer before and/or after-care programs?

Our preschool program does not operate any before and/or after-care programs. However both campuses offer aftercare via partner programs.

Does the cost change if I have more than one child at your school simultaneously? Is there a family discount?
If you have more than one child at the preschool during an academic year, there is a 3% discount on each child’s tuition. However, families still must pay a $250 supply fee for each child.

Does the cost change if I come back next year?
If your child returns to the Little Flock, you will not need to pay a new application fee to reserve your spot for the following year. However, tuition and supply fees are subject to change.

Do children have to be potty trained? Can children wear “Pull Up” Diapers?

All children entering the toddler and preschool program must be completely toilet trained. Therefore, pull-ups or diapers of any kind are not permitted in the classroom.

What are the COVID precautions at your facility?

2022/23 School Year All students and staff must wear masks inside. Masks are optional outside when working and playing in close contact. We perform daily temperature checks and limit guests in our facility. In addition, we eat all meals outside, weather permitting. We take these extra precautions with the knowledge our students are still of an age that makes them ineligible for the COVID-19 vaccines. With this understanding, we will pay close attention to case numbers, county and state mandates, CDC guidelines, and the advice of health officials before making the decision to lift our school's mask mandate.

2023/24 School Year. Masks are optional indoors and outdoors.

Do you provide snacks or lunch for the children?

No. Children should bring a healthy snack, a packed lunch, and a water bottle each day. They will have an opportunity to eat a snack about mid-way through the scheduled class time, and we will eat lunch as a class before the end of our school day.

What are the student-teacher ratios?
The student-teacher ratio is between 4-6 kids per teacher. Our preschool classroom has a max of 12 students, and the toddler classroom has a max of 5 students. We keep our ratios intentionally low so that we can create close relationships between our teachers and students.

Are there any curriculum differences between ages?

We do have different curriculums for the toddler and preschool classrooms. However, our preschool curriculum does not differ by age group.

We follow the North Carolina Foundations of Early Learning and Development framework to ensure each child is hitting developmentally appropriate goals and skills. For our older children, that will include kindergarten readiness tasks.

When is the Open House?
We typically hold an Open House at the end of January (January 9th, 2022). Please check the website around that time for updates or join our mailing list by emailing us at preschool@mylittlefarmer.com

Enrollment details can be found here.

How do I get on the waitlist?
If you apply and there is no spot available for the requested academic year, you may be offered a spot on the waitlist. There is no fee to be added to the list, and it doesn’t bind you to our school. If an opening does become available, you will be notified by phone and email. You will have 1 week before your offered enrollment date to confirm your enrollment before the offer is rescinded and awarded to the next family on the list.
